| Notes | Come and join us at Just Cos! Poetry for an evening of open mic poetry and spoken word at Smoke & Mirrors. This event runs every first Tuesday of the month and is hosted by Ashley Dunn.
We welcome everyone – from new writers to established wordsmiths – to perform their work in front of a supportive and encouraging audience. There is a warm community around the event and we want to hear a range of voices, themes and styles. Not a writer? Come along anyway and be inspired! Sign-up for a slot to read is from 7pm on the night. Please arrive early to guarantee a slot – there will be 20 reading slots of 5 minutes each. We then get started at 8pm. We will finish around 10:30pm, but the bar stays open until 11:30pm. Pizza and nachos are also available! Tickets are £4 - available on Headfirst (MUCH PREFERRED) or on the night.
